On all corners of the city, you'll find a market full of local produce, treats, coffee, and more. Get your fix at one (or several) of these markets this summer!
Over 4,000 people visit this market each week to get their supply of produce. Each week offers different activities for kids, live music, and more. This market also accepts SNAP benefits for Hoosier families. Head up to Fishers each Saturday, running May 4th - October 26th from 8 a.m. to noon.
For 24 Saturdays through the summer into early fall, locals and visitors alike can visit the oldest and largest farmers market in Hamilton County. Besides produce, you'll find locally made goods, artwork, takeout food options, wine and more. Runs May 4th - October 12th, 8 a.m. to noon.
If a weekday farmers market is more your style, this downtown location is perfect for the downtown dwellers or for those who work downtown. Every Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., support local growers & makers, enjoy music on the Sun King stage, and make a donation to one of three downtown homeless missions. Occurs every Wednesday, starting May 1st - October.
This southside market takes place in one of the most beautiful parks in the city. Baked goods, shrubs, pet products, kombucha, and more are available at this community event. Occurs every Saturday, May-October, from 9 am - 12:30 pm.
Happening on the second Sunday of every month in Ellenberger Park, this farmers market offers more than just food and local goods. Local non-profit organizations, event committees, and local politicians often set up shop here to connect with members of the community. Join the Irvington community on the following dates: June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, or October 13 from 12-3pm.
Supporting small businesses and farms is one of the best things you can do for your local community. Visiting one of these markets is a simple way to do that this summer!
