It’s never too early to start planning for Valentine’s Day! Indianapolis has food options for every palate and budget, so if there’s a place you’re hoping to check out don’t wait until the last minute to make a reservation. No matter what side of town you’re on, don’t miss out on some of the great foodie fare around town with the person you love!

Tinker Street - $$

This tiny gem in the Old Northside is definitely worth visiting! Since the restaurant is so small, it’s well worth booking that reservation early. With a seasonally changing menu, they offer plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The restaurant works with local vendors and sources their seafood from some of the top East Coast providers. A true Indianapolis gem.

Geraldine’s Supper Club - $$$

Steakhouses are plentiful in Indianapolis, but this place spins it a little differently. Set to remind you of the jazz-filled lounges in the big cities during the ’40s-’60s, this Fountain Square addition is climbing the ranks as a top steakhouse in town! Check out this new spot and wow your date with a swanky dinner out.

Black Market - $$

The menu is always changing here, so that’s part of the appeal! Head to the far east end of Massachusetts Avenue to try out the rustic Mediterranean menu. With an impressive wine and cocktail list, enjoy a fabulous meal in the dimly lit space that almost feels like a speakeasy.

Ambrosia - $$

This cozy Italian restaurant in Broad Ripple brings you all the best in Italian cuisine. This dinner-only establishment has pasta, soup, and salad option, bringing you the best of old Italian and new Italian cuisine. Fine dining, high-quality foods, and fine wines would make for a great Valentine’s Day dinner.

The Loft Restaurant at Trader’s Point - $$$

If you’re a fan of the farm-to-table dining experience, look no further than The Loft at Trader’s Point. In a rustic barn setting, enjoy an abundance of local organic food options. Since Trader’s Point also maintains an active farm and creamery, you can enjoy their amazing ice cream and cheeses as part of your experience. After a short drive out of the heart of the city, enjoy a meal and visit the animals while you’re there!

Indianapolis’ food scene continues to grow so take a chance this Valentine's Day! Who knows? You might just find your new favorite restaurant!
