Zionsville has some of the best breakfast-first restaurants in all of Greater Indianapolis. From delicious pancakes to premium deli meats, visitors and residents alike will find a great variety of excellent breakfast entrees in Zionsville.


Brunchies is located in Zionsville’s Boone Village Shopping Center, which is near the intersection of Oak Street and Ford Road. Brunchies, which also has a location in Carmel, only serves breakfast and lunch, and it is particularly famous for its coffee. The “Crunch French Toast” is another one of its better known dishes. In addition to these specialties, Brunchies has typical breakfast food items like omelets, waffles, pancakes and eggs. Brunchies is open between 6:00am and 2:00pm during the week. On the weekend, it opens at 7:00am, and it closes at 2:00pm.

Flap Jacks

Flap Jacks is another great Zionsville restaurant that is particularly famous for its pancakes. In addition to its pancakes, Flap Jacks has traditional breakfast items like bacon and eggs. The breakfast skillets are particularly delicious, and they come with a side of Flap Jacks famous pancakes. Flap Jacks is located on Whitestown Parkway, also known as IN-334, just across the street from Anson. It is open between 6:00am and 3:00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The rest of the week, it opens at 6:00am, and it closes at 9:00pm.

Big Dave’s Deli

Big Dave’s is part restaurant and part deli. The deli portion of this business sells premium cuts of Boar’s Head meat. The restaurant part of this business prepares some of the best breakfast in all of Greater Indianapolis. Customers should make sure they do not order too much food, however. Big Dave’s has massive portion sizes. The Big Dave’s Breakfast Sandwich is particularly well known around town. It is two subway-styled buns loaded with eggs, meats, cheese and hash browns. Big Dave’s is located in a strip mall on Oak Street across from Boone Village. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays. On weekdays, Big Dave’s Deli opens at 6:00 and closes at 2:00pm. On Saturdays, it is open between 7:00am and 2:00pm.

Rosie’s Place

Rosie’s Place is probably Zionsville’s most upscale breakfast restaurant. Still, it has a rather casual presentation. Rosie’s regularly changes its special menu. In the past, it has had delicious specials items like crab eggs benedict. Its Winter 2016 menu has breakfast staples like omelets, eggs and toast. It also has unusual but delicious breakfast items like breakfast tacos and breakfast burritos. Rosie’s Place is located in the heart of Zionsville at the intersection of Cedar Street and Main Street. It is open between 7:00am and 4:00pm during the week. On Saturdays and Sundays, it opens at 8:00am, and it closes at 2:00pm.
