For most people, dogs are part of the family. Still, it is not always easy to take them on family vacations. Typically, they have to stay behind. Fortunately, there are many great dog daycare companies across the North Side. Each one ensures dogs are treated well and with respect. 


Puptown

Puptown is located off of Shadowlawn Drive in Fishers, and it is open every day of the week. Monday through Friday, Puptown is open between 7am and 6pm. On Saturdays, its regular operations occur between 8am and 2pm. There is a one-hour window between 7pm and 8pm for pick off and drops offs. Sunday hours are similar to Saturday’s hours. Regular operations occur between 9am and 12pm. Pick up and drop off occurs between 7pm and 8pm. Visiting dogs can play with Puptown’s own friendly and social dogs while staying there. In addition to normal dog daycare services, Puptown offers grooming and dog washing as well. Puptown has an online reservation form on its website. 


The Animal Den

Zionsville residents will find The Animal Den particularly convenient. It is located in Whitestown on Whitestown Parkway, just west of I-65. It is open every day of the week. Monday through Saturday, The Animal Den is open between the hours of 7am and 6pm. On Sunday, their hours are 9am to 6pm. The Animal Den offers daytime and overnight daycare services. For daytime and overnight daycare, dogs are allowed playtime to get some extra exercise. Pet grooming is also available at The Animal Den. The groomers at The Animal Den have 15 years of experience and provide nail trims, a complimentary bandana or bow and ear cleans in addition to normal grooming. Prospective clients can visit The Animal Den’s website to see if there is any room for their dog. 


Happy Dog Hotel and SpaImage title

Located in the heart of Downtown Carmel near the Monon Trail, Happy Dog Hotel and Spa is another Indianapolis-area dog daycare. On weekdays, it is open between the hours of 7am and 7pm. On Saturday, they open at 8am and close at 4pm. Their hours are noon to 4pm on Sundays. A full day of dog daycare costs just $26 while a half day costs $15. Dogs must be vaccinated against Bordatella, DHPP and rabies to stay at Happy Dog Hotel and Spa. In addition to boarding, Happy Dog Hotel and Spa provides grooming services to visiting dogs. Visiting dogs can get massages, facials and nail trimmings in addition to normal baths. Reservations for Happy Dog Hotel and Spa can be made on their website.
