While the Northside certainly has its fair share of great furniture stores, sometimes homeowners are looking for a unique item styled in an older fashion. Fortunately, there are a couple of really great antique shops and malls in Zionsville and Hamilton County that provide some of the best antique items in all of Central Indiana.
Brown’s Antiques and Gifts
Founded in 1945, Brown’s Antiques and Gifts is Zionsville’s best antique store nestled perfectly among the beautiful homes of Downtown Zionsville. Featured in many magazines and publications such as Real Simple and Country Sampler, this antique shop is the oldest business like it in the entire state. In addition to selling antiques, Brown’s Antiques and Gifts provides appraisals. It also takes on restoration and repair projects. Brown’s is still a family-owned business despite being open for over 70 years. Brown’s Antiques and Gifts is open between 12:00pm and 4:00pm on Sundays. The rest of the week, it is open between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
Carmel Old Town Antique Mall
A great place to stop on Main Street in Carmel, the Carmel Old Town Antique Mall was founded in 2002 by Roman and Linda Chang and a group of vendors. This antique facility quickly grew in popularity, and, today, it is just under 12,000 square feet in size. It is open every day of the week between the hours of 10:00am and 7:00pm. Architectural Antiques of Indianapolis
One of the more unique antique businesses on the north side of Indianapolis, Architectural Antiques of Indianapolis primarily specializes in large antiques and furniture. Open since 1980, this antique business has some of the highest-quality restorations in the entire Greater Indianapolis area. Among other items, it has fireplaces, cabinets, lighting fixtures and doors for sale. Located on 96th Street in Indianapolis, Architectural Antiques of Indianapolis is open every day of week except Sunday between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm. Patrons can visit the store to see Architectural Antiques of Indianapolis’ inventory, or they can call to speak with a sales representative.
Noblesville Antique Mall
Hamilton County residents should consider checking out the Noblesville Antique Mall, which is located right in the heart of Downtown Noblesville. Three stories in total, the Noblesville Antique Mall has a large collection of truly unique antiques. This antique business is open every single day of the week. On Sundays, it opens at noon and closes at 5:00pm. For the rest of the week, the Noblesville Antique Mall opens at 10:00am, and it closes for the night at 5:00pm.
