Between the hustle of the holidays and heading back to school in the new year, you’re probably looking for a few ways to keep your kids engaged during their break! Rather than staring at a screen for hours on end, here are some places to help you fill up your kids’ schedule before starting school in 2018!

J-Cation Days at the JCC

Regardless of your religious affiliation, the JCC has been a valuable Indianapolis community resource for over 100 years. Potential activities include swimming, playing in the gym, time on the playground, art, games, or movies. Some days there might even be a field trip! Costs vary.

Indianapolis YMCA Winter Break Camps

At different locations around the city, your child could participate in a YMCA sponsored day camp! Activities vary by location, but often include swimming, arts & crafts, games, cooking, and science experiments! Expect busy days at a YMCA day camp! Costs vary depending on membership and location.

Winter Break Camp at the Riviera Club

For kids ages 3 and up, the Riviera Club might be a great option! Expect to have days filled with swimming, playing, and just being active! Send your child with two snacks, a sack lunch, and their swimming gear - easy! Costs vary.

SportZone Indy KidzCamp

If your kids are into sports, this could be a great fit! Days filled with structured sports activities like basketball, kickball, or soccer and visits from professional athletes are sure to excite the young athletes in your life! Meals and snacks are included! Costs vary.

Wildlife Engineering Camp at the Indianapolis Zoo

Have a 9-12 year old interested in animals and science? This two-day experience at the zoo may be the right fit for you! Explore how exhibits are created and experience some hands-on behind the scenes action! Cost: $190 members or $215 non-members.

Winter Break Sports Camp at Off the Wall Sports - Carmel

Another great option for the young athletes in your family! With over 100 different games on a rotating schedule, days are very busy here. Meals are included at this day camp as well! Aside from the typical sports like basketball & soccer, participants can also have time on the indoor rock climbing wall to keep them active during the holiday break! Costs vary.

No matter what your needs may be during the holiday break, there’s plenty of opportunities for your little ones! Whether it’s sports, animals, or just playing with new friends, one of these winter day camps is sure to keep your kids entertained!
